Now the blue glass has been blown into a small bubble and some clear glass gathered over it (a very hot operation involving getting very close to molten glass at 2200 degrees)

Now it is shaped with wooden blocks before blowing more air into it. You can see the blue glass bubble inside (it looks purple)
